Abstract

This study explores the influence of two distinct training programs, arm-eye coordination training and sports vision training, on the drive and serve performance of table tennis players. Seventy five (75) table tennis players from different colleges were randomly divided into 3 equal groups n=25. The experimental groups were given 10 week of respectively arm-eye coordination and sports vision training.  However, the control group did not undergo for any intervention. Measurements of backhand drive, forehand drive, backhand serve, and forehand serve were collected before and after the intervention period. Statistical analyses revealed significant improvements in drive and serve performance within the experimental group compared to controls (p < 0.05). The findings underscore the efficacy of arm-eye coordination and sports vision training in enhancing key performance parameters in table tennis, suggesting their integration into coaching practices for optimal player development.
